"It may be they will present their supplication before the Lord, and will return every one from his evil way: for great is the anger and fury that the Lord hath pronounced against his people." ~ Jeremiah 36:7 It is a known fact that Jesus paid the ultimate penalty for our sins by His own death upon the cross and that He purchased our redemption by the shedding of His blood. But there is nothing that will appease God more today than a true repentant heart! A broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart God will not despise. (Psalm 51:17) It is saying that if you are going left outside the will and plan of God for your life, then turn right and get right back on the path where you can now begin to experience the peace of God once again in your life. Psalm 139:23 (MSG) says: "Investigate my life, O God, find out everything about me; cross examine and test me, get a clear picture of what I'm about, see for yourself whether I've done wrong ~ then guide me on the road to eternal life." Another simple but powerful truth that God's mercy is everlasting, His love is unfailing and His truth endureth through all generations.
